MPTA Training

Our comprehensive MPTA training programme equips your staff with the knowledge, strategies and practical skills needed to maximise learning outcomes and create meaningful progress for all pupils.

What Our MPTA Training Service Provides

Our MPTA (Maximising the Practice of Teaching Assistants) training service delivers comprehensive professional development specifically designed for teaching assistants working with children who have special educational needs and disabilities. We provide expert training that enhances your teaching assistants’ effectiveness whilst strengthening your overall SEND provision through evidence-based strategies and practical approaches.

We understand that every educational setting has unique requirements depending on their pupil population, staff experience levels, and specific SEND challenges. That’s why our MPTA training is completely tailored to your setting’s individual needs. From developing effective intervention strategies to building confidence in supporting complex needs, we adapt our training to ensure maximum relevance and impact.

Our training sessions are designed to be immediately beneficial, ensuring your teaching assistants can implement new strategies and approaches straight away. We focus on practical techniques, evidence-based interventions, and person-centred approaches to ensure maximum impact on both staff development and pupil outcomes.
